Arsenal have a problem after star forward Leandro Trossard was injury while playing for Belgium.
Trossard start for Belgium in Monday’s Nations League trip to Israel but was force off with an injury for just 37 minutes before being replace by Yohan Bakayoko.
Belgium finished their UEFA Nations League campaign in third place in League A2, avoiding relegation to League B, but Trossard’s injury inevitably affected his club Arsenal.
This season, “The Gunners” of coach Mikel Arteta have been plague by injuries that have affect the team’s form, which is only 4th in the table, 9 points behind leaders Liverpool after 11 matches.
Arsenal will have to assess Trossard’s condition when he returns to the club, with the team’s first game after the international break coming at home to Nottingham Forest on Saturday, November 23.
Belgium head coach Domenico Tedescospoke after the game, to provide an update on the Arsenal forward. “I believe we had 21 injured players Promotion ufabet in the previous qualifying stage. And today we lost Leo Trossard and Zeno Debast to injuries,” he said as quoted by UEFA.
“We had a team that had never played together, never trained together. We started well, but ultimately, under really difficult circumstances, this is not the result we hoped for, and that’s why we are very disappoint.”
