Inter Milan have agreed a deal to sign Newell’s Old Boys midfielder Thomas Perez for €7m plus €2m in add-ons.

Late last year, Inter sporting director Dario Bakchin travelled to South America to check on a number of youngsters and Perez impressed.

Negotiations with Perez and Newell took place this week and everything went smoothly after the Nerazzurri reached an agreement with all parties involved.

Inter will pay an initial €7m fee and a further €2m in add-ons for the 19-year-old, according to เล่น UFABET ผ่านมือถือ สะดวกทุกที่ ทุกเวลา Sport.

However, they are not alone in their interest, with team-mate Mateo Silvetti also being tracked.

However, the report claims that closing a deal for the 19-year-old winger is more complicated than the one for Perez, and talks will take weeks to complete.

Perez is due to arrive in Italy in the next few days before Inter decide what the next step is for the Argentine.

The options include having him play for Inter’s Under-23s next season or loaning him out to a Serie A side.

Inter have been looking to add to their growing youth team.

The Nerazzurri are planning to set up an Under-23 team starting next season.

Therefore, Inter are increasingly in the market for players with room to grow. Nerazzurri owners Oaktree Capital have made clear that they are willing to invest if it is in youth.
