Lazio’s veteran attacker Pedro is hoping to win a trophy with the team before hanging up his boots.
Pedro has enjoyed another impressive season, scoring six goals and providing two assists in 12 appearances in all competitions, an improvement on last season’s three goals and one assist.
The 37-year-old’s contract is due to expire at the end of the season and he is keen to secure a final trophy with the Blues before retiring.
The former Barcelona, Chelsea and Roma star has said: “Of course I want to win trophies with Lazio because I won every season except in Italy.”
“I want to win trophies here because Lazio is a historical club, with a history similar to Chelsea or Barcelona.”
“I know it’s more difficult to win here for a number of reasons, but we’re doing well and leading the Europa League, so we’ll see how far we can go. There’s no doubt I want to retire with another trophy.”
“When the time comes, I will step aside with discretion and it will be difficult, but no more or less than what my other friends and teammates have done.”
Pedro added, “I do have a more important role here compared to last season. I am the oldest player in the squad, but I feel at ease close to young people, trying to teach them what I know. It’s not the same as past experiences. But I still feel as ยูฟ่าเบท important and appreciated by everyone.
“When the moment comes, I will make a decision on my future, but right now I just want to enjoy the rest of the season.”
