Former Scotland striker Ally McCoist has slammed Manchester United winger Anthony for missing the worst chance of the season during the 3-1 win over Southampton. The Red Devils trailed at
half-time, sending Anthony on to make amends and in the 60th minute had a golden opportunity to turn in Alejandro Garnacho’s cross from around three yards out.
However, the 24-year-old Brazilian winger’s right-foot finish was too weak and the ball rolled into the hands of Saints goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.
Manchester United legend Darren Fletcher admitted he could not believe Anthony failed to finish. Compatriot pundit McCoist agreed,
